Due to increasing complexity, regulatory burdens, deductibles, and copays as well as decreasing reimbursement rates, Dr. Thomson is not a provider for any insurance carrier. This allows the doctor to spend more time with you, create a collaborative care plan, and treat you effectively without the insurance company middleman. We provide flat rate fees for exam and treatment. In most cases our fees are similar to copays and you will never receive a bill in the mail. As a courtesy, Dr. Thomson will provide you with the proper paperwork to send to your insurance company so that you can be reimbursed at out of network rates or have your payments count toward your deductible. Thank you for your understanding in this matter.
You will not be recommended a long, drawn-out treatment plan that is given to every other patient that walks in our doors. We won’t try to get you to sign up for a year of care in advance and won’t ask you to bring your family in for a chiropractic care class. You will be treated as an individual and given recommendations for you to do at home to speed your recovery time, such as exercises, stretches, and dietary advice.
In most instances you will be adjusted on your first visit. If during your initial exam Dr Rob feels that your case is very complicated he may recommend that you get x-rays or even an MRI, but those recommendations will be customized to your specific needs.
Dr. Rob strives to ensure that you receive significant relief in each visit. While a long term resolution of your condition may take several visits you will no doubt leave feeling better than you arrived.
As you work with Holly she will reassure you that she is not adding pills to your lifestyle for the remainder of your life. While maintenance supplements are beneficial she is finding the root cause to problems and approaching it from that angle so that you recover/heal and not just band aid the problem. So no, long term supplements are not the norm for the majority of clients
Yes! If Holly feels that additional testing is beneficial she will discuss options with you. Holly will always use holistic measures first and diagnostics secondarily.
An initial visit is roughly an hour and that includes Iridology and Nutritional Response Testing with a detailed recommendation sheet for you to take home. Re-Evaluations are roughly 30 minutes and will include a varied version of Iridology as well as muscle testing for any changes or updates to recommendations
