Chiropractic Care Tailored For You

Dr. Rob’s focus on getting you out of pain as quickly as possible by customizing a treatment plan that is specific to YOU. You will not be recommended a long, drawn-out treatment plan that is given to every other patient that walks in our doors. We won’t try to get you to sign up for a year of care in advance and won’t ask you to bring your family in for a chiropractic care class.

Primal Reflex Release

This hands-on chiropractic therapy treatment helps to reduce chronic pain and tightness by reducing overstimulation of the autonomic nervous system. Primal Reflex Release focuses on taking certain primal muscle reflexes that have been triggered by pain and our keeping pain active due to the over stimulation of the reflexes. PPRT determines these reflexes and treats by lessening the reflex response.

Diversified

This chiropractic treatment is used by many chiropractors when it comes to spinal manipulation. The diversified technique is an eclectic approach to spinal manipulation through high velocity, low magnitude thrusts to help the patient regain mobility, joint dysfunction and spine alignment.

Gonstead

The Gonstead Technique focuses on the problem areas of subluxation.Through having a misaligned spine, the chiropractor can locate and correct any obstruction to the nervous system which he then will make a necessary chiropractic adjustment. The chiropractors focus being to be as precise and exact as possible.

Chiropractic adjustment

Thompson- Drop Table

The Thompson Technique, also known as the Drop- Table Technique is a chiropractic adjustment that is very gentle on the patient. This technique uses a special chiropractic table so that when the chiropractor applies a thrust to the patient the table can also be lifted higher or dropped down, based on what the chiropractor is trying to accomplish. This allows gravity to assist with the chiropractors adjustment which is what makes this technique gentle on the patient compared to other chiropractic techniques.

Motion Palpation Institute (MPI)

Motion palpation is a diagnostic technique used by the doctor of chiropractic to locate joint dysfunction within the spinal column and extremities. Motion palpation allows for the chiropractor to assess the movement of each individual joint and its relationship to the joints and soft tissue surrounding it. By accurately diagnosing the poor movement pattern, the chiropractor can quickly correct the underlying issue.

Figure exercising

Cox Flexion/Distraction

The Cox Flexion/ Distraction Technique helps with increasing a patient's spinal motion and rectifying disc bulges and herniations. This gentle, non- force chiropractic technique helps to treat many areas of the lumbar spine by decompressing the spine while adding gentle stretching to the lower spine. Chiropractors perform this adjustment on a special table that has moving parts so that different parts of the spine can be separated for a good adjustment.

Active Release

The Active Release Technique (ART) combines movement and manipulation to treat your soft tissue injuries that were created by scar tissue. This hands-on chiropractic technique isolates and targets the affected area of scar tissue and breaks up the adhesions to allow for better blood flow and faster healing of injuries. By breaking up the adhesions, your range of motion will increase which will help reduce the amount of pain and tension a patient feels in that scar tissue area.

IASTM

Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM), is a popular technique for chiropractors to use on patients that need to be treated for myofascial restriction or any individual diagnosed with soft tissue dysfunction. This is a non-invasive procedure that has been found to be very effective in loosening scar tissue and myofascial adhesions through special chiropractic instruments.

Knee tap

Kinesio Taping

The Kinesio Taping Method is believed to cause physiological effects on the circulatory/lymphatic, neural, muscular, and fascial systems, as well as the joints. Kinesio taping, made from elastic adhesive tape, helps to relieve pain by putting pressure on pain receptors. This takes the pressure off of the injured muscles to allow better muscle movement and blood flow. Chiropractors use the kinesio tape technique to correct muscle movement patterns, move lymphatic fluids, and to change and improve muscle tone and posture.
